Following on the Centre’s project of planting, both the teachers and children were able to start a mini garden where edible plants were planted. Pak Choy was the main vegetable planted. The children took turns to water the plants with their teachers. Everyone got to see the fruits of their labour!
Finally, the pots of Pak Choy were ready to be harvested! We got our parent volunteer and our children with their teachers to harvest the Pak Choy and pack them too! With the fruits of their labour, the children gave the little packs of vegetable to our neighbors and the community. It was certainly a meaningful and memorable experience for everyone!
