The Start Small Dream Big launch party was successfully held on 17th of July 2020 (Friday) at Star Learners @ Hougang. The N2, K1 and K2 children were introduced to this year’s SSDB project - “A Clean Place is A Safe Place: Be a HERO, Save the world!”
This project aims to promote the importance of maintaining a clean and safe environment for all especially during this challenging period where the world is facing a global health crisis. It also opens opportunities to children, teachers and parents to give a hand to help protect and save the environment in their own unique and creative way. This will be an educational and fun way for everyone to learn and be proactive in terms of saving and protecting the community, the environment and the world where we live in.
The children enjoyed watching the SSDB 2020 Launch Video. This explained and encouraged children to give back to the community in their own small way!
The children also made their pledges to help and be a HERO to keep the environment a clean and safe place for all.
The N2, K1 and K2 children designed their group flag which signifies their determination to be an “Environmental HERO”, who will showcase their awareness and love in protecting the community, the environment and the world.
It was a fun filled day for everyone!
