Our Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) Launch Party @ Tampines was attended by K1 and K2 children together with their parents on 1st of June 2023. This year’s SSDB is a special one as we have collaborated with our chosen organisation, SembCorp as well as participating in the competition, ‘SembEnviro Plastic Recycling League’.
SembCorp has initiated “SembEnviro Plastic Recycling League 2023” which aims to bring awareness and sustainability message to all schools and actively engage all staff, students, and parents to pick up good recycling habits. SembCorp visited our centre before the launch party to introduce and further elaborate what this league is all about. Schools that collect the most plastics get the chance to win cash prize! We have chosen to collaborate in this project as we wanted to inculcate to everyone that we can never be too young to learn about the importance of protecting our environment through recycling just like the saying goes ‘Start Small Dream Big’!
During our launch party, our K1 and K2 children, together with their parents, made a pledge about recycling!
