In conjunction of Earth Day on Friday, 20.4.18, our students and their families came together at East Coast Beach, to do a beach clean up. We started off the day with Zumba, to get them all geared up for the beach clean up.
After the zumba session, they went around to do the beach clean up.
Then, using whatever that they had collected, parents and children worked together in their groups to create a nature craftwork. At the end of it, they did a presentation of their craftwork through skit and songs.
During their lunch time, parents and children packed their food in their own lunchbox (no used of disposable plastic).
On this special day, the parents, children and teachers have pledged to do our bit in keeping our Earth clean and to make recycling part of our lives.
